Tiny Tim's Fundraiser 5K and 1K

 I was very fortunate to be apart of this neat fundraiser/race! My Grandpa Thacker is very talented and runs a non-profit organization making wooden toys for children all over the world. Tiny Tim's Foundation for Kids  held it's first ever 5K and 1K this August to help raise money to purchase the wood and other supplies. My cousin Emilee was the brains behind the operation (and her husband Joel, and many others) and I were able to help a little bit on the preparation, and we were able to participate in the fun run as a family  as well!

I am thankful to have such great examples of charity and service in my family!
