Makailey is now 11 months old!
She is such a fun little girl! I love spending my days with her!
Her favorites lately are:
-feeding herself with a baby fork
-she loves to read books! She really likes when someone will read to her, but she is happy to sit down and read to herself too.
-She loves to explore her surroundings and "investigate" everything.
-she is very expresssive! She has mastered her facial expressions and continues to perfect them daily. She has great smiles and teasing looks and she has also managed a few "mini tantrums"
-she loves to play with her dad and looks forward to his homecoming everyday
-she loves to "help" us with whatever we may be doing, be it dishes, laundry, making the bed or even blogging.
- Anything Elmo! Especailly Elmo books, toys and of course Elmos World on Sesame Street.
- Her favorite toys are balls (playing catch), her baby doll (she gives her kisses and carries her around the house) and toilet paper (right on the roll, she will unroll and unroll it all day long!)
- She walks really well holding onto our hands, the furniture and her toys, but she hasn't made the "step" to walking on her own yet.
- She loves to sing songs. Thankfully "patty cake" finally got old. "Itsy, bitsy spider" is her current favorite along with "Wheels on the bus"
- She now has 6 teeth and I think more are working their way up.
-She still hates her car seat but absolutely loves to look out the window when we go for rides in the car or truck. We can often hear her just giggling away on the back seat as we drive.
We are so blessed to have Makailey in our family!
