Jake and I have been trying to be better about getting pictures and videos of Makailey playing and learning. Here are a few super cute ones!
She loves to be "King Kong" and destroy the towers we build. She particularly likes it when the towers make a noise when they fall down but she is happy to destroy a tower made of anything.
We have built towers from blocks, "Jenga" pieces, sponges, ice cubes, plastic shape things, tupperware, lincoln logs, and..... well that is all I can think of right now.
We played with multi colored ice cubes one afternoon. This was a big hit! M loved splashing the ice cubes around in the bucket and trying to pick them up. Once she figured out how to pick them up she would suck on one and then move on to another color until she had tried them all. (I think the ice helped with her teething pain too). We also built towers with the ice cubes that she could knock over, which was her favorite - of course!
She has also become very independent lately! She loves to be apart of whatever we are doing but she wants to do it on her own. Here she is helping me switch the clothes from the washer into the dryer.
She got a little distracted by the container of lil crunchies on the table. (Which is still her favorite food)
Very determined to get to those crunchies!
I just love this picture!
Peeking threw the back of the chair - up on her tippie toes
Such a cutie!
Deep thinking pose.....
We all like to play at our house and we are good at it!
and sometimes by nap time we are just so exhausted that we can barely keep our eyes open to eat.
(Sorry blogger wont let me turn the video around...)
You can hear me making a bottle in the background...but you get to see our little "Milk-aholic" as Jake calls her. Man she loves her formula!
