Happy New Year!

Welcome 2012! We rang in the new year at home together this year with Chinese take out and sparkling cider (our traditions). There were so many exciting highlights this past year and we are looking forward to many new adventures in the year ahead. I also look forward to setting new resolutions each year. As a kid, my mom would help us make a time capsule each year. We would write down a few of our favorites such as food, color or current music likes as well as our resolutions. Then on new years eve we would open the old capsule and read our favorites and refill them with a current one for the year. I really enjoyed doing this so Jake and I have continued this tradition. This was our second new years together but the first year we have been able to read the old ones and replace them. It was really fun. We also traced Makailey's hands and placed them in the capsule for her. I cant wait to see what changes this year will bring! We hope you all had a wonderful 2011 and wish you a wonderful 2012!
